Don’t Build a House Without a Basement
Beware of houses that don’t have one; you’ll be surprised at how much storage space and workspace a basement can provide. If you’re not going to use it as a playroom or family room, I recommend turning it into an office! It’s great for storing all your important files, computer equipment, and other things you need to store but don’t want to lie around for anyone else to see (or borrow).
