Restaurants in Anne Arundel County for the food lovers

 In Uncategorized

While some people enjoy a quiet night in, I’m always up for trying out new restaurants. Whether it’s a fancy steakhouse or just someplace that serves breakfast all day, there are so many great places in Anne Arundel County.

Here are some great restaurants we’ve curated for you:

  • Blackwall Hitch: When I need something quick and easy this is my go-to place. The food is always delicious and the service is great! It’s also a nice atmosphere if you want to eat outside on their patio area during the warmer months.
  • Blue Dog Tavern: This restaurant has awesome burgers! They’re one of my favorites because they use really good meat and fresh ingredients that make them taste amazing! Plus they have craft beer on tap as well which makes me love them even more!

Then there’s…

Arundel Ice Cream

If you’re in the mood for some delicious ice cream, but you’re not sure where to go, we’ve got you covered. The best place to get ice cream in Arundel is at Arundel Ice Cream, located inside the mall. It’s a popular destination for families who want something new and exciting to do during their trip.

When you walk into the store, there will be many different options available to choose from: cones or waffle bowls? Chocolate or vanilla? Sprinkles or caramel sauce? You can even put on your topping if they don’t have what you’re looking for! If it’s too cold outside, they have heaters around so that nothing gets frozen while waiting in line at checkout like when I went last week (but I didn’t know because they were closed due to bad weather).

Alan’s at the Lighthouse

If you’re in the mood for a quick bite or a nice sit-down meal, Alan’s at the Lighthouse is a great option. The restaurant specializes in seafood dishes and American classics with an emphasis on Maryland favorites. You can grab something to go from their takeout window, or relax in their dining room with family and friends.

If you decide to dine in, they have an extensive menu of options including sandwiches like crab cake po’boy and fried shrimp po’boy; salads like Maryland crab salad and wedge salad; entrees such as pan-seared salmon with spinach risotto; plus more than fifteen types of fresh fish prepared any way you’d like: broiled, grilled or blackened!

In addition to great food offerings, they also have an outdoor patio area where guests can enjoy live music Thursday through Saturday evenings throughout the summer months (June 1 through September 30).

The Muddy Rudder Restaurant

If you’re looking for a place where the food is great and the scenery is even better, look no further than The Muddy Rudder Restaurant. This Annapolis eatery is situated on West Street in downtown Annapolis, which makes it an ideal spot for people looking for a meal before heading out to see some of Maryland’s most popular attractions.

The Muddy Rudder has been serving delicious meals since 1988 and attracts customers from all over Maryland—including Anne Arundel County residents who frequent nearby businesses like The Capital Grille or West Street Grill & Tavern. Whether you’re visiting with friends or family members or going there by yourself on business matters (or just wanting to treat yourself), this restaurant has something special waiting for you!

The Conservatory

You’re in for a treat if you go to the Conservatory, which is located in the Annapolis Towne Centre. This restaurant has a good wine list and even better food. The waiters here are dressed professionally and will answer any questions you have about their food or drink offerings. The menu is extensive, allowing everyone at your table to find something they like and enjoy themselves while they eat.

If you’ve never been here before (or if it’s been years), I highly recommend trying the oysters on the half shell! They’re served with horseradish mignonette sauce, which gives them a bit of kick when eaten with some lemon or lime wedges—and who doesn’t love that?

Carrol’s Creek Cafe

Carrol’s Creek Cafe is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have a great selection of drinks including coffee and tea. If you are looking for somewhere fancy without spending a lot of money this is the place for you!

The Quiet Waters Park Cafe

The Quiet Waters Park Cafe is a new addition to Annapolis, and it’s a great place to have a picnic or birthday party! There are many fun things to do there, including renting kayaks and canoes. The cafe offers special menus for children, so feel free to bring your whole family along for an afternoon of fun.

The Quiet Waters Park Cafe is located next door to the Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis. It’s also close to other restaurants like Chez Jacques Cajun Bistro & Bar and West Annapolis Crab House where you can grab lunch before heading back home after spending some time at the park!

Blu at the BWI Airport

If you’re flying into or out of BWI, Blu is a great option for pre- and post-flight dining. Their chef-driven menu features items like warm spinach salad with clams, bacon, hardboiled egg, and aged cheddar; butternut squash ravioli stuffed with mushrooms, sage butter, and parmesan cheese; tomahawk rib eye steak served with mashed potatoes and horseradish cream sauce; whole roasted branzino topped with sauteed shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari served over linguini tossed in white wine garlic sauce; chocolate mousse cake.

Black-Eyed Suzie’s

Black-Eyed Suzies is a restaurant in Severna Park. It’s family-friendly, so if you have kids, bring them along! In addition to being kid-friendly, they have a great selection of comfort food and craft beer. They also serve wine and cocktails. If you’re looking for an awesome happy hour spot with appetizers under $5 (not just wings), check out Black-Eyed Suzies Monday through Friday from 3 pm until 6 pm.

Duffy’s of Laurel

Duffy’s of Laurel is a great spot for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, and burgers in addition to a few more unique items like crab cakes or tacos. They also have a variety of beers on tap including Miller Lite and Blue Moon as well as wine by the glass or bottle.

Duffy’s of Laurel is located at 401 Ethan Allen Ave., Laurel MD 20724, and opens daily from 11:30 am until 9 pm (Sunday-Thursday) and 10 pm (Friday-Saturday). Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 4 pm – 7 pm with drink specials like $1 off draft beer, $2 off wine by the glass, and half off appetizers such as wings or mozzarella sticks!

While it may seem strange for a sports bar to have so many vegetarian options, Duffy’s does just that! Some favorites include veggie tacos ($11), portobello mushroom & cheese sandwich ($10), or Greek pasta salad ($9). If you’re looking for something sweet try their cheesecake bites ($7) which are made fresh daily using real cream cheese & homemade graham cracker crust!
